Garageband creates a loop of the recording
When I record software instruments, GarageBand creates a loop of the recording. Does anyone know how to turn off this feature?

My cat just stepped on my Mac keyboard and this feature became enabled. I've been searching the net in hopes to find the answer on how to uno it but have found nothing.
